Optical Engineer

📋 Description

• Specify, select, and qualify optical components for camera modules
• Evaluate how optical elements affect overall camera image quality
• Develop and refine measurement methods for comprehensive image performance evaluation
• Analyze, test, and qualify illumination systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop illumination sub-systems

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Optical Sciences, Optical Physics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with optical design tools (Zemax or Speos preferred; LightTools, ASAP, or Code
• Solid understanding of core optical components (imaging optics, lightguides, illumination optics)
• Ability to learn and adopt new optical design tools and methods
• At least an Intermediate level in both written and spoken English (B1)
