Oracle Database Application Support Team Lead

📋 Description

• Serve as senior technical engineer for Oracle DB platforms and apps.
• Lead Oracle DB upgrades, patching, and deployments.
• Perform 3rd-line diagnostics and fault resolution, including performance tuning.
• Proactively review monitoring, capacity, performance, and backup metrics.
• Maintain robust backup, recovery, and restore solutions.
• Lead incidents and conduct root-cause analysis with fixes.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on Oracle DB administration including upgrades and patching (single-instance).
• Experience supporting local government customers using Revenues/Benefits or Housing solutions.
• Linux or Solaris: hands-on software installation and support (Windows is a bonus).
• Deploy and support Apache Tomcat-based applications.
• Proven ITSM experience with Ivanti, ServiceNow, or similar.
• Strong customer communication across video, phone, and email; UK security clearance eligible.
