OS Engineer (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• Join Munich team to build Yocto-based Linux OS for EGYM devices
• Engineers work on OS and Backend in a cross-functional team
• Focus on Linux systems, IoT cloud infrastructure, and edge devices
• Collaborate with sports science, electrical engineering, and SRE
• Explore new frameworks and technologies to modernize architecture
• Own software lifecycle from evaluation to deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Linux development for edge devices (Raspberry Pi, iMX)
• Proficient in Rust, C, or C++; scripting: Bash, Python
• Experience with Buildroot or similar build systems
• Knowledge of VPN, TCP/IP, NAT, IPv6, DNS, DHCP
• Backend/cloud app development with Java, Go, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong emphasis on clarity, tests, and documentation
