Part-Time Data Center Technician (Contractor)

📋 Description

• Rack, stack, power, and cable servers, devices, and sensors.
• Perform structured cable runs, labeling, and cleanup.
• Ensure equipment labeling and documentation per internal standards.
• Hardware swaps, moves, additions, and changes in the data center.
• Validate rack layouts, device locations, and power connections.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on data center or infrastructure experience.
• Comfortable racking, cabling, labeling, powering, troubleshooting.
• Able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Basic networking: switches, VLANs, IPs, firewall rules.
• Experience with asset tracking and structured documentation tools.
• Follow detailed technical instructions and escalate issues clearly.
