Part-Time PMHNP - Virginia-Autonomous Practice

📋 Description

• Carry a part-time caseload delivering psychiatric care to youth via telehealth.
• Work primarily during afternoon, evening, and weekend hours to accommodate families.
• Practice autonomously in Virginia within an integrated care team.
• Deliver integrated care with therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Educate families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Virginia PMHNP license (multi-state or compact preferred).
• Ability to practice independently without an MD collaboration agreement.
• PMHNP-BC board certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program.
• Experience with or strong interest in working with youth and families; comfortable telehealth.
