Patient Access & Care Team Rep

📋 Description

• Serve as first point of contact for patient/customer inquiries
• Schedule, cancel, reschedule appointments
• Collect/update patient demographics, insurance details; verify medical records
• Confirm insurance coverage
• Recognize urgent/emergency situations, transfer to RNs for triage
• Enter medication refill requests, page providers as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 year experience in call center, healthcare, or customer service
• Strong customer service skills
• Clear verbal communication, empathy with diverse population
• Basic computer proficiency
• Organization and multitasking
