Payment Analyst

📋 Description

• Take diagnostic ownership of checkout funnel health — surfacing alerts, insights, and defects
• Lead root-cause investigations that distinguish engineering defects from user-behavior patterns
• Support the funnel's reporting cadence to cross-functional teams, translating data into insights
• Analyze authorization-rate, decline-code, and multi-PSP performance to identify the highest-impact
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud on the diagnostic work behind
• Develop into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health within the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Payments funnel literacy: interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3DS, fraud fundamentals.
• Demonstrated root-cause analysis on funnel drop-off or decline patterns — technical vs. behavioral.
• Able to translate complex data and customer-behavior insights for audiences without deep technical
• Self-serve BI/dashboard tool familiarity (nice-to-have)
• SQL fluency (nice-to-have)
• Experience navigating ambiguity (nice-to-have)
