Lead and develop a Payment Operations team for Mercury's payment rails.
Build and scale desks across international/domestic wires, RTP, ACH, and checks.
Guide operational decisions on exceptions, investigations, and regulatory tradeoffs.
Improve efficiency with processes, tooling, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Banking Partnerships.
Define and track metrics for productivity, quality, SLA adherence, and rail performance.

🎯 Requirements

Experience in payments, banking ops, or related operational roles.
Deep knowledge of payment rails: international/domestic wires, RTP, ACH.
Experience leading and coaching an operations team.
Ability to scale ops with process design, tooling, automation, and AI.
Experience in regulated environments balancing speed, risk, and quality.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
