Payment Operations Specialist - EMEA

📋 Description

• Review incoming/outgoing payments to identify fraud or suspicious activity.
• Monitor transaction activity across platforms like Stripe and Airwallex.
• Investigate and document fraud or suspicious activity; escalate to Risk and Compliance.
• Resolve payment and operational issues with customers via email, phone, or video.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Legal on complex cases.
• Contribute to ad-hoc operational projects and streamline manual workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years in analytical, support, or operations with a customer-facing component.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluent in Spanish (B2) written and spoken proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risk.
• Familiarity with payment operations—refunds, disputes, KYC, or reconciliations.
• Open to occasional weekend hours for team coverage.
