Payment Operations Specialist - EMEA

📋 Description

• Review payment transactions and identify risk.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Product to resolve issues.
• Help streamline and automate manual workflows as we scale.
• Monitor payments across Stripe and Airwallex for anomalies.
• Investigate and document fraud or suspicious activity; escalate as needed.
• Resolve payment and operational issues with customers via email/phone/video.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years in analytical, support, or operations with customer-facing work.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Fluent in Spanish with at least a B2 level.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and broad responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to assess risk.
• Open to occasional weekend hours.
• Familiar with payment operations—refunds, disputes, KYC, or reconciliations.
• Bonus: experience with Stripe, Airwallex, or Adyen.
