📋 Description

• Build and scale Mercor's payments platform
• Improve flow-level observability from payout to settlement
• Reliability engineering for distributed payment systems
• Instrumentation of ledger, payout orchestration, settlement ingestion
• Automate treasury and payout workflows
• Root-cause driven system redesign

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building scalable backend systems (payments/fintech)
• 3+ years backend engineering with ownership of production
• Payment infra: gateways (Stripe/Adyen) and banking APIs
• PCI-DSS compliance and secure data handling
• 3+ years with MySQL/PostgreSQL; Go/Rust/C++
• MQ/streaming: RabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka; Kubernetes/Temporal
