📋 Description

Lead discussions with merchants; train Sales to lead them.
Serve as internal and merchant-facing expert on payment optimization.
Gather Stripe’s payments expertise to craft optimization narratives/tools.
Use tools to deploy sophisticated optimization playbooks and analyses.
Synthesize customer feedback to inform Stripe’s product roadmap.
Provide feedback on tools and playbooks to improve self-serve offerings.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years in payments/ops at tech or payments consultancy.
Expertise diagnosing card authorization rate underperformance.
Deep understanding of improving merchant card auth rates (ISO, retry, issuer analysis).
Ability to run A/B tests across PSPs for auth rate.
Experience onboarding merchants to a new PSPs for optimal auth rate.
SQL, dashboards, modeling, or reporting; PSD2/PSD3 familiarity.
