Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end multi-state payroll operations for hourly, salaried, and bonus cycles.
• Supervise and develop payroll team with coaching and growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, and SOX where applicable.
• Oversee payroll audits, tax filings, amendments, and inquiries.
• Manage long-term incentive and equity payroll with internal and third-party admins.
• Analyze payroll data and produce HR/payroll reports; translate requirements into reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 6 years of progressive payroll experience, including complex multi-state operations.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing payroll or HR professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, taxation, wage and hour laws, garnishments, and compliance.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms; ADP Vantage or similar ADP solutions desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
