Payroll QA (Defined Benefit)

📋 Description

• Communicate with leads, BAs and developers to define testing scope
• Analyze technical docs and data flow diagrams to identify test scenarios
• Manage DB pension payments across methods (Cheque, Wire, Direct Deposit, PAD)
• Validate payroll cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly)
• Review and test Defined Benefits payment options (Single Life, Joint & Survivor, Lump Sum)
• Apply structured testing techniques to create positive and negative test cases

🎯 Requirements

• 4 - 6 years of relevant QA experience
• Experience creating test plans and designing test scenarios
• Knowledge of STLC, UAT and Smoke Testing
• Basic automation testing knowledge and SQL queries
• Strong understanding of Canada or US Defined Benefit domain
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
