Payroll Specialist (US)

📋 Description

• Be responsible for final input and validation of payroll data.
• Work with external payroll vendors for US entities and other locations as needed.
• Obtain approvals for salary transfers per policy and banking regs.
• Ensure proper calculation of payroll taxes and employee benefits.
• Manage payroll inquiries and liaise with providers to resolve issues.
• Handle new state tax registrations where employees reside in states not registered.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of US Payroll Specialist experience in international company.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll; federal/state compliance; intl payroll a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of US labor law, payroll, 401(k) and fringe benefits.
• Experience with HRM/payroll systems (ADP, WFN) and MS Office; advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Creative, flexible approach to payroll challenges.
• IT company payroll dept experience a plus.
