Payroll Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state and global employees.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for earnings, deductions, taxes, and leave pay.
• Manage year-end activities including W-2s and payroll calendar planning.
• Post payroll journal entries to the GL and perform reconciliations.
• Develop payroll reports and dashboards; support system upgrades.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on payroll processing
• Multi-state payroll experience; adapt to changing laws
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Strong Excel: lookups, pivot tables, data validation
• Detail-oriented; high accuracy and confidentiality
• Manage competing priorities and payroll cutoffs
