PCB Layout Engineer

📋 Description

• Own layout of complex PCBAs: outline, stack-up, high-density routing, release.
• Establish and maintain design standards, libraries, and workflows across generations.
• Partner with EE/RF/ME and manufacturing to resolve trade-offs for robust designs.
• Collaborate with PCB vendors to ensure impedance control and DFM/DFT compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in tool flows, libraries, and design reviews, incl automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on PCB layout for high-speed, high-density, mixed-signal systems (5+ years).
• Cadence Allegro/OrCAD (17.2/25.1) mastery with complex boards.
• Strong placement, SI/PI, EMI/EMC, and impedance control knowledge.
• Proficient in rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB design for embedded systems.
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
• FAA Part 107 certification encouraged within 60 days; required for some roles.
