PCIe Hardware Engineer, Systems

📋 Description

• Own triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of issues.
• PCIe Gen5/Gen6 interfaces, NVMe features, and SMBus troubleshooting.
• Document and update stakeholders during triage to resolution.
• Lead PCIe/NVMe/SMBus validation plans for chip bring-up and regression.
• Lead failure analysis and root-cause investigations for field issues.
• Leverage automation and AI (Augment, Glean) to improve triage.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in advanced interface troubleshooting across host, PCIe, and CXL; automated validation experience.
• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• Proven chip bring-up and product qualification experience.
• Proficient with test equipment: PCIe analyzer, Exerciser/Jammer, I2C analyzer, UART.
• Experience with PCIe compliance testing (SIG) for SSD products.
• Proficient in Python, Bash; Linux environment; strong communication.
