People Operations Specialist (8-month FTC)

📋 Description

• Support Swiss lifecycle admin: contracts, changes, offboarding, and leave.
• Own People Operations for the French entity with payroll provider; ensure compliance.
• Be Swiss labor law expert; advise on contracts, termination, parental leave.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, immigration, and government offices in German.
• Maintain and improve HRIS (Personio): data accuracy, workflows, automations.
• Answer employee questions on contracts, benefits, and HR policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Hybrid work; visit St. Gallen office once per week.
• 4+ years in People Ops/HR Admin or similar; experience in scaling tech or international environment.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Swiss labor law.
• English fluent; business German; French a plus.
• Experience with HRIS; Personio knowledge is a significant advantage.
• Curious about AI; enjoys exploring tools and sharing learnings.
• Track record of owning and improving processes end-to-end, not just maintaining.
• Clear communicator; builds trust with employees, People Partners, and leaders.
