📋 Description

• Own payroll runs, compliance with local labor laws, and onboarding.
• Oversee payroll for US/Canada and global team with tax compliance.
• Maintain policies, labor law compliance, and Notion workspace.
• Manage employee expenses and reimbursements via Ramp.
• Lead company events, town halls, and recognition programs.
• Compensation: CAD 120,000 - 150,000 + equity.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in People Operations, HR, or relevant roles
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with ownership
• Experience with global payroll across US, Canada, and international jurisdictions
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law, CRA coordination, and tax compliance
• Hands-on onboarding for employees and contractors
• Proficiency with HRIS and tools such as Rippling, Deel, Ramp, Asana, Notion
