People Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Build, test and maintain People system automations and integrations across Workato, Google Cloud
• Develop integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, Slack and internal tools using Workday Web
• Write clean, readable automation code in Ruby or a comparable scripting language, stored and
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures quickly and fix root causes so automations stay
• Ship changes safely through GitLab CI/CD pipelines, following testing, change-management and
• Lead with AI: use AI tools, large language models (LLMs) and Model Context Protocol (MCP)

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building automations or integrations, ideally with human resources or business
• Experience writing and maintaining code in Ruby or a comparable scripting language, such as Python
• Hands-on experience with Workato or a comparable integration platform as a service (iPaaS) in a
• Experience working with APIs and web services, including REST and SOAP, and understanding of how
• Proficiency with Git for version control and code review; treat automation code like production
