Performance Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and run performance test suites for a microservices SaaS on AWS.
• Operate and maintain production-like environments for performance analysis.
• Analyze logs to identify root causes of degradations.
• Define, track, and report performance KPIs and trends.
• Use usage data to identify capacity risks and actions.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, DevX, SDET, and Product to prioritize improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on performance testing on AWS-based microservices.
• Strong analytical skills with root-cause focus.
• Statistical analysis: trend modeling and capacity forecasting.
• AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS), Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with performance testing tools: k6, Gatling, Locust, JMeter.
• Python scripting for tests; observability with Prometheus, Datadog.
