Performance Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build performance test suites for microservices SaaS on AWS.
• Operate and maintain prod-like environments for perf analysis and regression tests.
• Analyze logs to identify and root-cause performance degradations.
• Define and report performance KPIs and trends to leadership and product.
• Use usage data to identify capacity risks and pre-empt issues.
• Collaborate with Platform Eng, DevX, SDET, and Product to prioritize perf improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on performance testing on AWS-based microservices.
• Strong analytical skills; root-cause analysis.
• Statistics background: trend modeling, interpolation, capacity forecasting.
• AWS (EC2/RDS/S3/ECS/EKS), Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with k6, Gatling, Locust, or JMeter.
• Observability/logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog; ELK, CloudWatch.
