Petroleum Inspector

📋 Description

• Test bulk liquid/gaseous hydrocarbon cargo; sample, gauge, and reconcile transfers between shore
• Follow Safely standards and SGS processes; adhere to industry standards and API procedures.
• Communicate with client representatives, US Customs, vessel personnel, and shore facility staff on
• Maintain reports using SGS Ship Inspection Report (SIR) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) systems.
• Operate with high ethical standards and safety practices; assist back-office duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years transferrable industry experience (Preferred)
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License (Required); TWIC (Preferred); valid Driver’s License and TWIC as
• Certifications: IFIA Certification (Preferred)
• Skills: English – Basic; basic arithmetic; strong communication; ability to work under pressure
• Computer: MS Office - Basic to Intermediate (Required)
