Petroleum Inspector

📋 Description

• Tests bulk liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon/chemical cargo; supervises transfer from shore
• Gauging, sampling, temperature measurement of vessel and shore tanks per API procedures.
• Calculate and report transferred quantities; perform full reconciliation.
• Prepare reports using SGS Ship Inspection Report (SIR) or Site Acceptance Test (SAT) systems.
• Collaborate with client representatives, US Customs, vessel personnel, and shore facility staff.
• Maintain status updates with business unit staff and adhere to industry and SGS standards and

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent (Required); 6 months to 2 years transferrable experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (Required); TWIC (Preferred); Driver’s License and
• Knowledge/Skills: English – Basic; basic math and fractions/decimals; intermediate reasoning
• Computer: MS Office – Basic to Intermediate (Required).
• Physical Demands: Stand, move, reach, climb, stoop, talk/hear, lift up to 50 lbs etc.
