Petroleum Inspector

📋 Description

• The Petroleum Inspector performs testing of bulk liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon or chemical cargo
• Acts in accordance with Client, SGS Operational Excellence practices and Industry standards.
• Physically sample, measure and temperature-take vessel and shore tanks following API procedures.
• Follow safety standards and work within defined technical processes.
• Calculate and report transferred quantities; perform full reconciliation.
• Complete required reports using SGS Ship Inspection Report (SIR) or Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years in transferrable industry experience (Preferred)
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License (Required) • TWIC (Preferred) • Driver’s License and TWIC must be
• Knowledge/Skills: English – Basic; basic math with fractions/decimals; intermediate reasoning
• Computer: MS Office – Basic to Intermediate (Required)
• Physical: Frequent standing/motion, lifting up to 50 lbs, and other physical demands as listed.
