Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist

📋 Description

• Initiate new prior authorization requests to providers.
• Identify the correct prior authorization form for the patient's insurer.
• Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices to populate forms.
• Follow up with medical offices to check PA status.
• Communicate PA status to patients and providers.
• Hours: Shift 11am-7pm or 12-8pm; 100% onsite in Chesterfield.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Customer service or inbound call center experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Technical skills with analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Passion for top-notch patient care.
• Ability to work with peers in a team and cross-functionally.
