📋 Description

• Propose innovative photonic designs for modulators, receivers, lasers.
• Collaborate with photonic engineering to estimate performance, power, and area.
• Partner with analog engineering for high-bandwidth photonic interconnect.
• Author, review, and validate architectural specifications.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in EE, physics, or photonics field.
• Deep knowledge of photonic devices and semiconductor physics.
• Experience with silicon photonics components; tools: FDTD, Verilog-A, VPI Photonics.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving for non-obvious issues.
