Photonics Hardware Validation Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and build photonic test systems for product validation.
• Collaborate with device, hardware, software, and design teams on end-to-end validation.
• Drive photonics testing and validation of silicon photonics-based interconnect products.
• Develop chip validation plans aligned to specs, xDVT, and interoperability testing.
• Set up lab test equipment, test benches, and troubleshoot validation setups.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Hands-on bench test equipment for data communications, including electro-optic testing.
• Experience in data communications with electro-optic link-level testing.
• Familiarity with PCB design and hardware testing of electro-optic circuits.
• Ability to collaborate with design, software, and cross-functional teams to drive chip bring-up.
• Basic scripting for automation of lab tests and result analysis.
