Physical Therapist Assistant

📋 Description

• Administer participant treatment programs per the Physical Therapist
• Assist PT with vital signs, ROM, and strength testing
• Coordinate with Rehab team to implement activities per treatment plans
• Schedule treatments, visits, and billing
• Document PT interventions: active/passive exercise, gait, ADLs
• Provide direct care at the center and in participants' homes

🎯 Requirements

• PTA associate’s degree from an accredited program
• Valid PTA license or license eligibility
• Minimum of two (2) years PTA experience with frail/elderly population
• PTA knowledge necessary to treat frail elderly participants with complex needs
• Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience preferred
