Physical Therapy Technician, Part Time

📋 Description

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist/observe patients with prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas; change and laundering linens.
• Perform administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering calls and scheduling appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs.
• Unlicensed assistant works under direct supervision of licensed PT/OT.
