📋 Description

  • Develop RELAP5-3D models for steady-state and transient analyses.
  • Create plant-level control strategies and component-level controller models.
  • Perform heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics calculations to validate results.
  • Analyze normal operations, upset conditions, emergencies, and faults to set design limits.
  • Conduct plant-wide transient analyses to evaluate operating scenarios.
  • Collaborate with safety, I&C, and design teams to address technical challenges.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with RELAP5 or TRACE system codes.
  • Strong thermal-hydraulic analysis, 1D hydraulic network modeling, and transient simulation.
  • Experience modeling control systems and instrumentation and control (I&C) systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with nuclear power plant design or operations preferred.
  • Strong technical writing and collaboration skills.
