πŸ“‹ Description

  • Support engineering and design collaboration between multidisciplinary teams involved in plant systems development and construction activities.
  • Provide technical oversight of electrical system designs developed by engineering partners and subcontractors, from functional requirements through final design.
  • Coordinate design handoffs and ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop, review, and maintain electrical engineering deliverables, including procurement specifications, requirements documents, system descriptions, calculations, diagrams, and engineering change packages.
  • Evaluate electrical systems against applicable classification requirements, industry standards, codes, licensing requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Integrate electrical scope and requirements with mechanical, nuclear, instrumentation, controls, and other engineering disciplines.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education; advanced degrees are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience with demonstrated electrical systems expertise.
  • Proven experience coordinating and integrating multiple organizations involved in engineering design and project delivery.
  • Previous experience with nuclear electrical systems design is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Class 1E standards, including IEEE 308, IEEE 323, IEEE 344, IEEE 379, IEEE 383, IEEE 384, and IEEE 741, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant quality assurance requirements, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1, is highly desirable.
