Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend infra in Go, TypeScript, and Python.
• Own reliability and observability of core services: data pipelines, AI/LLM infra, APIs.
• Build fault-tolerant services for sensitive financial data with auditability.
• Manage and scale AI infra: LLM APIs, ML pipelines, prompts, and the compliance engine.
• Integrate with third-party platforms and back-office systems; build robust connectors.
• Shape architecture as Saturn scales UK and beyond, focusing on correctness, data integrity, security.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4 years building backend systems in production, ideally fintech or data-critical.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go and TypeScript.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred) and deploying backend services at scale.
• Experience designing systems for sensitive financial or regulated data with data integrity and auditability.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Prior fintech, regtech, or regulated industry experience is a strong plus.
