Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Central Platform Work: Building shared tools, infrastructure, and automation for all developers.
• AI Integration: Rolling out AI tools across development, code reviews, and incident response.
• Internal Tooling: Create feature flags, canary rollouts, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Core Infrastructure: Manage and optimise AWS, GitHub, Datadog, and Cloudflare.
• Automation: Eliminate repetitive tasks; use AI tools where possible.
• Production Support: Guide squads on managing their own apps using metrics, logs, and SLOs.

🎯 Requirements

• AWS & Terraform: Hands-on experience with ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, or EventBridge.
• CI/CD & Observability: Strong understanding of deployment pipelines and system monitoring.
• Modern Tools: Interest in using AI tools in daily software engineering.
• Codebases: Comfortable with Ruby or Python code and solving ambiguous problems.
