Platform Engineer - Build & CI

📋 Description

• Build and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions
• Instrument the build with CI telemetry and dashboards
• Define and enforce policies to keep main green (merge queue, PR gating, on-call)
• Own and maintain the remote build cache infrastructure and invalidation
• Own the developer environment: local builds and dependencies
• Maintain the dependency mirroring infrastructure (apt, PyPI) for builds

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with build systems (Bazel preferred; CMake okay)
• Experience designing CI pipelines at scale with caching
• Strong understanding of hermetic build environments
• Debug complex build failures across languages and toolchains
• Experience with dependency management and tradeoffs
• Good instincts for developer experience
