Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across the platform team, guiding decisions.
• Evaluate and challenge architectural decisions with solid reasoning.
• Apply strong backend and data stack know-how (Python, APIs, CI/CD, dbt, Redshift).
• Use AI tools in daily engineering workflow (PoCs, reviews, docs).
• Collaborate with leads, co-create solutions while maintaining relationships.
• Document decisions with ADRs/RFCs and raise engineering standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Tech Lead or Staff Engineer with leadership by influence.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to challenge decisions.
• Deep backend and data stack knowledge (Python, APIs, microservices, CI/CD; dbt/Redshift).
• Active use of AI tools in daily engineering work.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to co-create with stakeholders and manage disagreements.
• Experience documenting decisions via ADRs/RFCs and technical standards.
