Platform Engineer - Navy (FedD174/FedD175)

📋 Description

• Platform Engineer for Navy Delivery; DevOps and platform security focus.
• Act as liaison between apps and Navy platform; promote best practices.
• Implement infrastructure as code and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, RKE2).
• Develop cloud-native deployments; secure coding practices and remediation.
• Collaborate with external teams and platform teams; guide engineers.
• Travel 4-12 times per year.

🎯 Requirements

• Active SECRET clearance required to apply.
• Possess or able to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform or Pulumi, CI/CD, and GitOps.
• Proficiency in security automation: API, container, and cloud security.
• DoD experience, ATO processes; able to mentor junior engineers.
• Experience with YAML for Kubernetes manifests, CRDs, and pipelines.
