Platform Engineer - Self-Service Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain the self-service data platform for large-scale datasets.
• Develop reusable platform services and tooling to simplify data access and infra management.
• Design and optimize cloud storage using modern object stores and data formats.
• Contribute to IaC by developing Terraform configurations, CI/CD, and automation.
• Implement secure-by-design capabilities, including access controls and least-privilege.
• Collaborate across teams to standardize platform capabilities for broader use.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years in platform/infra engineering with strong ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, plus Kubernetes, Helm, containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage, object stores, relational DBs, and Parquet/Delta/Iceberg.
• Experience with Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or similar language for platform/data engineering.
• Experience implementing security best practices (IAM, RBAC, least privilege).
