Platform Engineer - Self-Service Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain the self-service data platform; manage storage, access, and lifecycle.
• Develop reusable platform services and tooling to simplify data access and processing.
• Design and optimize cloud storage solutions using object storage and data formats.
• Contribute to IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Implement secure-by-design platform capabilities: access controls and least privilege.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize platform capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years in platform/infrastructure engineering with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, plus Kubernetes, Helm, and containers.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage, object stores, relational DBs, and Parquet/Delta/Iceberg.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators like Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or similar.
• Experience with security best practices: IAM, RBAC, and least privilege.
