Platform Engineer - Self-Service Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain the self-service data platform for large datasets.
• Develop reusable platform services and tooling to simplify data access.
• Design and optimize cloud storage for scalable workflows.
• Contribute to IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Implement secure-by-design controls: IAM, data classification, least-privilege.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize platform capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, plus Kubernetes, Helm, and containers.
• Strong understanding of cloud storage, object stores, and data formats (Parquet/Delta/Iceberg).
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect).
• Strong Python or other language for platform and data engineering.
• Experience implementing security best practices: IAM, RBAC, least-privilege.
