Platform Engineer - Self-Service Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain self-service data platform for large-scale datasets.
• Develop reusable platform services and tooling to simplify data access and infra management.
• Design/optimize cloud storage with object stores and modern data formats for scalable workflows.
• Work on Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Implement secure-by-design access controls and least-privilege security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and productize platform capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years in platform or infra engineering with strong production ownership.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform; includes Kubernetes, Helm, and containers.
• Knowledge of cloud storage, object stores, RDBMS, and Parquet/Delta/Iceberg.
• Experience with Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, or similar.
• Strong Python or similar language skills for platform work.
• Security best practices: IAM, RBAC, least-privilege.
