Platform Tester (Back-end Systems) - Canada

📋 Description

• Own test planning and execution for assigned platform components and services
• Define coverage across functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, services, and back-end systems
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Validate platform behaviour across interfaces and deployment environments including
• Investigate complex, cross-component issues using logs, data, and system diagnostics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including experience testing
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks for API and integration
• Working knowledge of SQL, test management tooling (e.g., qTest, Zephyr), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing within containerized or cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated ability to lead test strategy for complex releases with minimal supervision
