Play Content Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the content calendar and publishing roadmap for Play content across Magic.gg and channels.
• Develop and publish content highlighting players, communities, events, and play experiences.
• Manage editorial content including event guides, decklists, and feature stories.
• Produce and edit short-form video and social content.
• Identify compelling stories and moments for editorial, video, and social content.
• Partner with events, operations, and communications to support content before/during/after live events.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in content management, editorial, journalism, or digital content production.
• Strong knowledge of Magic: The Gathering, including organized and community play.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally about 8-10 times/year, usually on weekends.
• Outstanding writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Experience producing content for digital audiences, including short-form video.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and contributors in fast-paced environments.
