Policy Communications Lead

📋 Description

• Own Wing's policy and regulatory communications strategy across federal, state, and local audiences
• Advise senior leaders and executives on how Wing's public positioning affects permitting
• Partner with Government Affairs and Legal to align messaging on rulemakings, legislation
• Build the community-facing evidence base (noise, flight volume, operating hours, data and privacy
• Prepare executives and spokespeople for hearings, council meetings, and high-stakes media interviews
• Lead issues and rapid-response communications when a market comes under scrutiny, including

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in policy communications, public affairs, or issues management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience scaling, operationalizing, or commercializing at a previous company
• A track record of leading communications strategy for regulatory, legislative, or other
• Experience advising senior leaders and influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Experience working with reporters on policy-driven or contested stories
