Policy & Government Relations Analyst

📋 Description

• Support Long Beach and Southern California government relations with officials.
• Represent Vast at local government meetings and events.
• Research and analyze federal, state, and local policy developments.
• Track congressional appropriations, budget cycles, and NDAA developments.
• Draft policy briefs, talking points, and legislative summaries.
• Produce and maintain a government affairs newsletter; assist proposals.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills across multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest or experience in space, aerospace, or policy.
• Ability to travel occasionally for engagements.
• Security clearance eligibility if required.
