Policy Manager

📋 Description

• Build and own relationships with regulators, government officials, and legislators across the UK
• Represent Plaid in industry working groups and policy forums on open banking, open finance, smart
• Lead research and analysis that shapes Plaid’s positions on key issues and informs our regulatory
• Own the planning and execution of Plaid’s UK and EU policy agenda, coordinating projects with
• Partner with teams across Legal, Compliance, Communications, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and
• Stay ahead of emerging policy trends in the UK and EU, flagging risks and opportunities for Plaid’s

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in UK or EU financial services policy, for example at a regulator such as
• Strong existing relationships with policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, trade
• A proven track record of advocacy and policy influence within financial services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse
• A resourceful, adaptable, and collaborative approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Curiosity about product, technology, and AI.
