Power Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform bulk power system studies using industry software (PSS/E, PSLF, TSAT, ETAP).
• Model inverter-based resources (IBR) with steady-state, short-circuit, and dynamic sims.
• Assess facility ratings, protection coordination, and ride-through requirements.
• Analyze power system performance to meet reliability standards.
• Process and maintain data for system studies and projects.
• Prepare clear technical reports with methodologies, results, and recommendations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, focus on power systems.
• 2–3 years of professional power systems experience.
• Experience in power system impact studies (steady-state, short-circuit, dynamic).
• Proficiency with PSS/E, PSCAD, TSAT, or equivalent tools.
• Engineering automation and programming with Python valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.
