Principal AI Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Define the Agent / Skill / Tool architecture for the AI platform.
• Scale the context graph to turn manuals and work orders into intelligence.
• Build the developer experience with orchestration, tooling registry, and observability.
• Design offline/online evaluation to improve agent performance.
• Drive cross-division alignment with Product Engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering, backend or platform/infrastructure.
• 3+ years ML/LLM systems in production (latency, cost, reliability).
• Principal-level technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Internal platform experience; treat DX as a product.
• Strong Python backend; APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Ability to write design docs and lead cross-team technical decisions.
