Principal AI Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the security strategy and architecture for AI ecosystem.
• Lead threat modeling for GenAI, cross-agent autonomy, and new attack classes.
• Set standards for securing model/RAG/data pipelines across platforms.
• Define secure by design for agentic systems at ServiceNow; drive adoption.
• Represent ServiceNow's AI security posture externally and to executives.
• Mentor engineers on AI security work.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in CS or related field; security/AI/ML specialization or exceptional substitute.
• 10+ years software engineering with ownership of enterprise-scale architecture.
• 7+ years in security engineering with AI-focused work in recent years.
• Track record of setting technical direction beyond your team across the organization.
• Hands-on with securing model, RAG and data pipelines and governance design.
• Experience threat modeling for LLM/GenAI or agentic systems with cross-team impact.
